Lumasol supplied the custom-engineered mounting structures for SAPY Phase 2, a large-scale commercial solar installation at a textiles manufacturing facility in KwaZulu-Natal. 

 

The system was designed to reduce daytime reliance on Eskom while improving long-term energy efficiency and performance.

 

The installation features 1,396 × 580W Canadian Solar panels, with mounting structures designed to suit the site’s layout while ensuring optimal panel orientation, structural integrity, and long-term durability in local conditions.

 

This project has already exceeded expectations, currently producing approximately 7% more than projected – a strong result delivered through close collaboration.
